Nothing makes us more proud when the country’s most luxurious wedding magazine Grace Ormonde Wedding Style features one of our clients! Today, earrings by Yael Designs were featured as Editor’s Pick:
The Japanese seed pearl earrings with white diamonds and custom-cut black diamonds are part of Yael Designs’ Leone Collection, which benefits Schools for Salone, a non-profit that helps rebuild schools in war-torn Sierra Leone.
Earlier this year the I Do PR team along with some of our clients attended The Lab, a unique wedding show at Cline Cellars in Sonoma, CA created by the talented ladies from Engaged & Inspired , Bustle, and Floral Theory.
Instead of traditional wedding show vendor booths with pushy salespeople, The Lab offered a sophisticated party atmosphere filled with inspiration boards that were brought to life by select Northern California wedding professionals, a vendor resource library, a runway show and of course snacks, wine and desserts (I’m still not over those Batter Bakery lavender cookies…)
I loved how The Lab involved its audience way before the actual event, held in January, by asking people to vote for the best inspiration boards that they would want to be brought to life. As inspiration boards were the heart and soul of the event, here are three of our favorites:
I just loved the bold colors of this tented tablescape – made me feel like I’m inside a romantic Prince of Arabia storybook!
This “Burned Marshmallow” tablescape was brought to life by our good friend Emily Dreblow from Soulflower. The muted color palette looked amazing with the Cline Cellars backdrop. And how fun is that branch lantern??
This pink, girly, raspberry tablescape makes me want to get married again and again! It speaks of a peak of summer and would look incredible in a garden or winery somewhere in, say, South of France. Ok, now I’m drooling…
My one criticism of the event would be that it was hard to see who were the vendors responsible for creating the tablescapes. There was a small sheet posted next to each table, but it was small and hard to see in the moody lighting. But despite that, we hear wedding vendors received a lot of bookings from the event, which is great to hear!

I had a great time driving up to Sonoma for The Lab and can’t wait for next year’s event – I know it will be even more fabulous (if that’s at all possible)!
Eco-Beautiful Weddings, a magazine about – you guessed it – beautiful eco-friendly weddings, published the unique bohemian wedding of Erin & Kris photographed by Choco Studio at the always stunning Dawn Ranch Lodge in Guerneville, CA.
Erin’s green Vera Wang gown has been all the rage with wedding editors! But I also loved how she paired it with a purple floral wreath – very original. The wedding color palette just jumps off the magazine pages.

With the holidays less than a week away, we thought we’d celebrate with Emily and Chase’s cozy winter wedding in Atlanta. The space and décor elements were styled reminiscent of time Emily spent as a child in her grandparent’s cabin in the Northwoods. Earthy and organic accents added rustic beauty, while the chocolate, mocha and ivory palette was warm and inviting. Special thanks to Nadia D. When someone like Britney Spears gets engaged, all bridal media is a-buzz with news and photos of her engagement ring. Ring styles and carat sizes get dissected with every major celebrity engagement. The same goes for wedding dresses, cakes and other aspects of wedding planning that consume celebrities, and thus the ever-hungry wedding media.
In PR, we look at this as an opportunity to provide great content to editors who’re writing stories about celeb wedding news.
Getting back to Britney Spears’ recent engagement, our jewelry client Yael Designs had the perfect engagement ring with a similar look, but smaller carat size and thus more affordable. The jewelry editor of Brides.com featured the Yael Designs engagement ring in her story “Get the Look: Britney Spears’ Engagement Ring“:

Kirribilla was founded in 2007 by sisters Faye and Phoebe Davison who craved dresses that turn everyone’s heads. Brimming with femininity, the Kirribilla collections are inspired by the many destinations the girls had visited from the glamour of southern France to the natural beauty of Hawaii.
