 Who is Bows N’ Ties?
Hendrik Pohl, founder and CEO of Bows N’ Ties, was inspired by his own dapper father’s German necktie business that propelled him to launch the company in San Francisco in 2009.  Determined to follow in the successful footsteps of his father, Hendrik set his eye on becoming the largest online retailer of men’s neckwear in the world.
With that goal in mind, Hendrik sold a great deal of his belonging to make room for the inventory of 10,000 ties that he housed in his then studio apartment. As word grew about the online accessory shop, he was able to move the company from his apartment to a warehouse space in the SOMA district of San Francisco. With several years of experience under his belt, Hendrik grew Bows ‘N Ties from 10,000 styles to over 100,000 styles that offer a rainbow of colors, patterns and textures to match any dapper man’s personal style. Complete with styling guides and expert advice, Bows N’ Ties has become an online destination for men seeking expert style advice, and of course that includes grooms and groomsmen.
