Principal

Principal Sasha Vasilyuk is a seasoned communications professional and serial entrepreneur with a BA from UC Berkeley and MA in Journalism from New York University.

Sasha started her first company at the age of 16 by founding the first national magazine for Russian youth in the U.S. She pursued her passion for journalism by working as a staff reporter for the ANG Newspapers and San Francisco Examiner. She contributes articles on travel, culture and business to the Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, In The Fray, Newsweek, 7×7 and other publications.

Sasha’s transition into PR happened as a result of cofounding Sandbox Suites, one of the first coworking spaces in the U.S. She helped grow the company to 5 Bay Area locations with over 500 members, successfully worked with a roster of clients including Twitter, MC Hammer, Blue Bottle Coffee, airbnb and Mint, and obtained media coverage in The New York Times and other national and international media.

Sasha then jumped fully into public relations by first representing clients in lifestyle, design, real estate and transportation fields. In 2011, she fell in love with the wedding world and has been working exclusively with innovative wedding brands ever since. After traveling around the world for a year, Sasha now lives in Manhattan and loves that her life consists entirely of tulle, tiered cakes and inspiration shoots.
