As more and more of today’s millennial couples get married after living together for several years, the wedding registry business is reinventing itself. At recent WedTech Summit held in San Francisco, we heard a panel of experts on gifting who all confirmed that couples are increasingly seeking experiential items that reflect their interests and lead to greater memories, whether it’s traveling or entertaining their friends.
The newest kid on the wedding registry block,Ă‚Â Best Buy,Ă‚Â is keenly aware of the trend, so we decidedĂ‚Â to play around withĂ‚Â Best Buy’s newly launched wedding registryĂ‚Â to see if we could create aĂ‚Â registry inspiration for couples who like hosting summer backyard BBQs (since it’s finally summer!). Here is what we found:
Our favoriteĂ‚Â Best Buy’s registry item was definitely theĂ‚Â hammock. It gives the backyard that tropical island dream vacation vibe as well as provides guests with a casual place to relax. Pair the hammock with some watermelon cocktails, colorful paper lanterns andĂ‚Â Best Buy’s sneakily disguisedĂ‚Â outdoor speakersĂ‚Â and you got yourself a true getaway right in your backyard.
A the long afternoon turns to dusk, guests can snuggle next to a small outdoor fireplace and these cute solar lanterns. Just add some grilled delicacies, desserts and good company and voila!
