Wedding professionals and other small business owners often turn to me for help on how to get publicity for their business. Sometimes, they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re launching a new product or service. Other times, they have plans to turn their regional business into a national brand and are looking to get exposure in popular blogs, TV and national magazines.<\/p>\n

After 5 years consulting for brands that have ranged from top wedding photographers to 100-person tech companies, I realized I had no way to help a small business owner that doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have the means to hire a full-time publicist, but still has a story to tell.<\/p>\n

In fact, I realized they had nowhere to turn. Wedding PR is a small niche and there are only a few public relations agencies in the world that specialize in this area. However, none of us had created educational resources that could help entrepreneurs like you master how to work with the press to get publicity for your business.<\/p>\n

That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s why I decided to write the first book on PR specifically aimed at wedding professionals. In late June, Marry the Media: How to Gain Publicity for Your Wedding Business<\/strong>, launched on my PR Tools Store<\/a> and on Amazon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But still, that left out those of you who use iPad and Nook for reading.
