Last week, we\u00c2\u00a0visited a bridal\u00c2\u00a0pop-up event in New York hosted by\u00c2\u00a0IvoryLace<\/a><\/strong> and Happily Ever Borrowed<\/a><\/strong>, two innovative bridal fashion companies that provide brides an economical and sustainable option for their weddings without sacrificing elegance and glamour.<\/p>\n

IvoryLace<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0(we love the name!) is a New York consignment pop-up boutique of gently worn, top of the line wedding dresses, cofounded by\u00c2\u00a0Kara Brothers and Amira Karriem. They partnered with Brittany Haas, the\u00c2\u00a0founder of Happily Ever Borrowed<\/strong>, which rents out high-end pieces of bridal jewelry. Both located in New York, the young companies decided to partner for the first ever pop-up shop.<\/p>\n

We asked Brittany why she decided to partner with the ladies at IvoryLace.<\/p>\n

“We wanted to partner with Ivory Lace because\u00c2\u00a0we believe in getting customers the best price possible for high-end, quality bridal attire,” she said. “For an item that can only be worn once in your life, it only makes sense to share that gown and give it life beyond just one night. The same goes with Happily Ever Borrowed accessories. For a hand-crafted sash or piece of jewelry that can only be worn for a few hours, it makes sense to continue to share the piece with brides over time and give the item as much wear as possible. Because our pieces are luxury items, they are made to last a lifetime!”<\/p>\n

Located in Chelsea, the pop-up boutique\u00c2\u00a0was filled with gowns by Marchesa, Andrea Pitter, and Elizabeth Fillmore – just to name a few of the bridal designers represented. After shopping for dresses, brides could complete the look with jewelry, tiaras, veils,\u00c2\u00a0clutches, and sashes from Happily Ever Borrowed.<\/p>\n

The pop-up event felt congruent with both brands targeting the same type of bride, so we hope\u00c2\u00a0to see more collaboration from these two brands in the future. The event continues this weekend.<\/p>\n

“We wanted to give brides in the tri-state area an opportunity to see our accessories and try them on while shopping for their dream gown,” said Brittany Haas. “We’re thrilled at the final product and would love to have brides continue to stop by this weekend.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
