The biannual Bridal Fashion Week is always an exciting time in New York when major bridal designers reveal their new collections, editors fly in from other countries to see what\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s new and hot, and vendors gather from all over the country to shop for new collections and meet other industry folks.<\/p>\n

\"3\"<\/p>\n

For April 2014 Bridal Market, we were invited to attend the Spring 2015 Bridal Shows by\u00c2\u00a0Amsale<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0and\u00c2\u00a0Kenneth Pool<\/a>, both designed by the talented Amsale Aberra.\u00c2\u00a0Held at the newly renovated\u00c2\u00a0EZ Studios<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0in Midtown, the shows drew a full house, including editors from as far away as Russia, Korea, and Singapore.<\/p>\n

Before the show began, it was great to catch up with Heather, former fashion editor at\u00c2\u00a0The Knot<\/a>, who is now heading Amsale\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s PR department.<\/p>\n

\"4\"<\/p>\n

Open backs and dramatic skirts in both lines caught a lot of attention from editors.\u00c2\u00a0Also in attendance was a representative from Google, who asked Naima DiFranco, Fashion and Beauty Editor at\u00c2\u00a0Bridal Guide<\/a>, to snap some pictures of the runway using Google Glass.<\/p>\n

The rest of the audience snapped photos and videos on their smart phones. With about 50 people in attendance, most of them editors with a few major stores cropped in, Amsale\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s show are the middle of the road in terms of size. Most of the shows tend to be a little smaller, but some \u00e2\u20ac\u201c like Monique Lhullier \u00e2\u20ac\u201c can get over 100 attendees.<\/p>\n

\"6\"<\/p>\n

While major American TV networks don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t cover Bridal Fashion Week, some industry publications as well as foreign journalists use the opportunity to interview the designers after the show.<\/p>\n
